20 minutes drive to the west takes you to the city of Stirling with its many historical attractions including Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monumentand The Church of the Holy Rood. The Old Arcade in the city centre offers fine examples of Victorian architecture as well as many independent shops selling everything from Scottish crafts to American comic books.
